Parent-Child Guide Book (Lanark, Leeds and Grenville) is a quarterly publication dedicated to Self Help and Improvement of Family Life.

The Parent-Child Guide Book is Canada’s leading newspaper publication in its category. The parent company, Parent-Child Guide Book (KItchener-Waterloo), has been in existence for over 25 years. Together we support Missing Children, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Canadian Mental Health, Kids say No to Alcohol & Drugs, Operation Look Out and many more worthwhile organizations. A percentage of all advertising in Parent-Child Guide Book (Lanark, Leeds and Grenville) goes to support these important community organizations.

Various timely articles on safety, health, education and public awareness issues are published in each issue. Our regular columns include childcare information, health concerns, crime prevention, emergency concerns, literacy, nutrition, dental matters, fire prevention, music notes, money matters, legal notes, techie tips, and a Kids Corner

Distribution

Circulation is 11,000 copies with an estimated readership of 30,000. The publication is distributed free through all elementary schools in the Upper Canada District School Board and the Catholic District School Board in Lanark, Leeds and Grenville. Students receive the publication to take home.

Readers also receive the Guide through the Ontario Early Years Centres, Child Care Centres, Health Units, various professional offices, major grocery stores and select businesses. In many of these venues, copies are available in resource centres or reception areas where more than one reader has access to the publication.

The publication is targeted for all ages and stages. Readers include parents, teachers, caregivers, social workers, and professionals working with children.
